Lower Savannah Council of Governments: Working for You and Your Community

Since 1969, the Lower Savannah Council of Governments has been assisting local governments in meeting the needs of its citizens by providing a wide array of planning, administrative, and technical services to all local governments in the Lower Savannah region.

Lower Savannah annually publishes a work plan which contains the traditional goals and long range planning activities of the agency. It is our hope that through a clearer understanding of the work of Lower Savannah Council of Governments, counties, municipalities, and even those unincorporated areas will feel comfortable in contacting our office for assistance with projects that can improve the quality of life for the citizens of the Lower Savannah region. Please take a few moments to review this booklet and give me or any member of our staff a call for further information on how the programs administered through our office can assist your area.
