The Human Services department includes the Area Agency on Aging, which develops a coordinated program of services for seniors and works closely with local providers of services to older adults and their families in each county.

The Area Agency on Aging also serves as the regional focal point for information, advocacy, assistance and technical assistance on concerns and issues relating to aging and conducts special activities to raise public awareness of these issues.

Legal Service refers seniors to participating attorneys in the region for assistance with preparation of a simple will, financial power of attorney, guardianship or conservatorship proceedings, age discrimination issues, denial of public benefits and landlord/tenant housing problems.

Our staff assists callers with Insurance Counseling and questions on Medicare Fraud and Abuse.
